B-17 Yankee Lady
Feel the rumble of the engines in the B-17 which was dubbed as the “four engine fighters” by its enemy. Designed by the Boeing Aircraft Company, the Flying Fortress served as a U.S. heavy bomber during World War II.
C-47 Hairless Joe
General Dwight D. Eisenhower termed it one of the most vital pieces of military equipment used in winning the war. The C-47 once operated from every continent in the world during World War II. It was developed from the Douglas DC-3 airliner, and used extensively by the Allies during World War II

Wings of the North AirExpo22, July 23rd and 24th
Wings of the North is dedicated to presenting aviation from its colorful history to the advanced vehicles of the future. To accomplish this mission we put on annual AirExpo flight demonstrations and displays, symposiums, guest speaker series, school presentations, as well as an aircraft restoration program to bring historically significant planes to flight.
