The museum recently acquired a US Marine Corps Mess Dress uniform that belonged to Henry “Hank” Bourgeois. Hank was a decorated F4U Corsair pilot with VMF-214 in World War II. VMF-214 was known by the name “Black Sheep Squadron” and was led by the colorful Gregory “Pappy” Boyington. Hank died in November of 2009.
