The museum has been given four Bryan Moon prints to display in the Wings of the North Aviation Art Gallery at the museum. Three are about the World War II raid on the Ploesti, Romania oil refineries. The fourth is a North American B-25 Mitchell lifting off the USS Hornet in April of 1942 to attack Tokyo as part of the famous Doolittle raid. The paintings include two letters to Bryan Moon from Jimmy Doolittle and a piece of aircraft #3 recovered from its crash site in China. In addition MIA Hunters also made a cash donation.
We are grateful to the MIA Hunters and their board member Brig. Gen. Dennis Schulstad, Ret. for their work and for thinking of the Wings of the North Air Museum!
